Gbrowser - Googles new web browser

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/3680942.stm

"But perhaps the most persuasive evidence comes from the fact that in April Google registered the gbrowser.com domain...."

This has be developing for awhile. Don't remeber seeing other threads on the subject?

Anyone have a clue if we're about to see Gbrowser soon?

FireFox is making a dent in IE. Gbrowser would take some serious market share!

I'd give it a try even though google screwed my SERPs for awhile. Also hear Gmail is slow. So all is not as rosy as it could be.

It would be fun to see where Google is ten years from now. I mean look at how everyone hates Bill Gates and views him as the enemy, someone muscling out the competition and trying to pry into your life. But I'm sure he didnt start out that way.

Maybe Google is headed down a similar path, even if its still a "good guys" entity for now, maybe in ten years we'll all be hating on them the same way we hate on M$ now?
