          Most people who know anything about the US media.. Knows NY Times is a bush hating organization... So there biased coverage does not really count..

          But from what I understand the UN doesnt applaud during a speech anyways... It's their custom apparently...

                                              2. They did applaud for Kofi, Zapatero and Lula
