I like the ones like my ISP has, where they give you the option to key in your number and then hang up. You don't lose your place in the call lineup, and once your turn comes up in their system, they call YOU back.

did you try to press 0 ? or just hold.... most places still have that in place for the rotary phones that might still be out there.... if you don't press shit then it will usually get you to a live person
