I'm trying to give up soda, need help!
I don't drink an excessive amount, just a couple cans a day, but I've been feeling like crap lately so would like to see if cutting out soda helps. The last 2 days I've cut down to just one can daily. Buuut, I need some replacements! What are some other good things to drink? I can't have milk or dairy based products, but pretty much anything else goes. I like things that are full of flavor. Any good juices out that I should know about? |

				 | Iced Tea works well. If you're trying to lose the caffine too, then lemonade is a great thirst quencher as well. |

				 | I don't think I could give up my Diet Vanilla Coke. But I like Country Time Lemonade and iced tea sometimes. Oh, and if there is a Kroger grocery store near you, they sell gallon jugs of tea, it tastes good and it's caffine free. |

				 | Crystal gyser fruit squeez'es. They are fizzy real fruit drinks no added sugars. Mineral water is also great, I like arrowhead brand. Iced T, just make your own. With fall starting today: Cider, non instant co-co, hot tea all are great. |

				 | I'm trying too. I'm trying to get down to under 2L a day! Ugh! I'm on Caffine Free Diet Coke right now but what's helping is Crystal Lite drink mix. It's not carbonated (good thing) and has no sugar (even better). I also like those flavored waters at the grocery store. Safeway calls them "Safeway Select".

				 | When I first left home and was broke I used to buy these huge tubs of powdered lemonade for around $10. Those things would last near 2 months. Maybe I'll do that again. |

				 | Makingcoin and I are trying to cut out soda from our diet too, but that stuff is so addicting. It has been three weeks now. I have slipped once. You should just start adding more water to your diet and Orange juice. If you go into caffiene withdrawl, try some tea. Soda adds a lot of extra unwanted calories. |

				 | soda has caffeine just like coffee does. If I don't have my coffee in the morning I feel like crap and can get a headache from it. Your body gets use to it and will crave it until you taper it off. If soda is making you feel like shit you need something with pretty much the same ingredients so your body isn't freakin out.

				 | Raspberry tea is good....but my personal fave and the only think I'll pick over a soda for flavor is Propel, the flavored water from Gatorade. It is soooooooo good. |
