A Malaysian man shot and killed his wife when he mistaken her for a monkey picking fruit from a tree behind the house on Wednesday.
The wife age 68, used a ladder to climb up in the tree and she was picking the tropical fruit. She was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital. The couple had raised 13 children.
The Husband is age 70 and is in custody for causing death through recklessness after he fired a shotgun killing his wife when he thought it was a monkey in a mangosteen tree Monday.
