ING Canada is fine. They'll even up business accounts, for your corporation. It can take a couple of days to transfer funds between ING Canada and your normal bank, so one needs to plan ahead if paying a big bill, etc.

I deal with Dundee Securities. Been dealing with them for 2 years now and prior to that it was CIBC.

I was sent to Dundee by numerous Bay ST boys. They use them personally and thru their biz transactions as well.

www.ingdirect.ca a little higher interest than most banks, no fees and surcharges (from what I've been reading and hearing)

AMEX Bank of Canada also offers savings rates comparable to ING Direct. AMEX didn't have a corporate account option last time I checked, though.

www.americanexpress.ca

As I type this, the rate at AMEX is 2.30%, whereas at ING Direct it is 2.25%. AMEX Bank always seems to be 0.05% higher, although that's only $50/yr difference on a balance of $100,000.

I have an ING US account and have a friend with a Canadian account... I do not think there is much difference except for the rates, etc... I have been really happy with my account!

I opened an account with ING. How many other banks will give you 13 bucks if you open an account(MIN 100 BUCKS), PLUS
they will give you another 13 for every soul your refer. You can have them take out money automatically from your account and they give you a debit card as well. Great way to save money. Lets see if I can do it.
