Yow Cow vs. Pay Pal
I used to use PayPal for my nonaudult biz, but it is always a drama with them and I would like something I can use for straight up adult business instead of having to stress about whether a banner ad for a site which contains an article with a link to an adult site but is generally about other topics is or is not an adult site.
Who here has used the YowCow service? Good experiences? Bad ones? I just signed up for the service, but I don't yet know whether I will be using it or if it is any good. If my bringing it up turns out to be useful, you are damned skippy that is a ref code link. I am a webmaster.

They seemed like the obvious choice to me, but I haven't had much luck with their business account setup. It appears to require wire transfers and has no easy way to get my money out. Although one of their reps offered to help me set up a buy now type of button, which PayPal made very easy but Epassporte had no instructions on, my emails to them have gone unanswered. I found the Epassporte contract for their variety of business accounts totally incomprehensible and my father is a lawyer. When I emailed Epassporte questions about their service, they wanted to answer them on the phone. If my father taught me anything it is that that usually means someone does not want to stand behind their word. Plus I have certainly seen some people complaining about getting funds frozen, although those may be people who should have that happen. I also posted a number of places including here asking for just one person who had a business account with Epassporte to endorse them and no one would. So I'm looking for other options.

Epassporte is none I'd trust, also their verfication process is everything else but legal in most countries. Also they're caribean based which means you can't really sue them for anything.
Yowcow seems to be ok, seen it a few times before already. Just stay away from iKobo and other potential scammers. How about moneybookers? They're reliable and have everything you need. |

Looks like I will definitely be skipping iKobo, but I wish someone here had experience with YowCow so I could tell if I want to try that option.

Or Get a adult merch account?

Yeah, I am somewhat leaning towards just getting a merchant account, although MoneyBookers is looking better to me as well. The problem with a merchant account is that it does not help me pay other people.
I was using paypal for mainstream, even though I did not like giving them my business, but they have been giving me all sorts of headaches because they know I am in the adult biz, even though clearly none of my sales have been for adult products.
