You really don't need a drop-dead gorgeous model to have a successful solo-girl paysite. Give your members loads and loads of high-quality content (videos are a must), and interaction.

Updates are a must. At least once a week, but 3-4 days a week works as well. Just make sure there is enough content to keep the member busy so they don't get bored.

Make them feel like they have personal contact with the model.
Setup a system for the members to talk to the model, let them send her messages, etc.

Gather some affiliates.
If you are not into handling your affiliates, or do not have time to do it all, just do it on a case by case basis and only let on as many affiliates as you can possibly handle.
Give the affiliates excellent support, tools, etc.

It all comes down to what you are after yourself.
You can throw traffic at a site and maybe get them to signup, but if the member's area is no good they won't reccur.
If you are looking to build yourself an excellent revenue stream, then you need to do your homework and build up an excellent member's area that the member can't possibly get bored with.

If you are going to market it and drive millions of hits at it, why not start out with the right product?

So far no one has given any credit to the person behind the camera. Getting the right exposure, angles, settings is pretty easy. Making a girl with no intentions of fucking anyone look like she would do a gang bang for a pizza is hard and that's the first thing you need for a single girl paysite.

Having a HOT girl shot badly, turned off by the whole thing and on the defensive will not work, having her shot the same way time after time will not work so well.

When you have the girl you need to open her up and portray her strengths and hide her weaknesses. Then you need to build the range of content, as if she started a bit unsure and as she got into the modelling taking more steps and going further. Good point here for her to ask people "Should I do XZY", "Do you think this is a good idea?"

Then she need to be around for updates and one to one. You can fake this and shoot everything over a short period of time to release over the life of the site, but better to have her around.

Then you need the marketing and traffic.

I will take the results off a site like I just described against any crap site with the same marketing. Selling a good product is easier than a bad one, you just have to know what is good.

It always seems to me that the people who say TRAFFIC TRAFFIC TRAFFIC, either already have a good product and take it for granted or don't know enough about porn to build a good site.

Crap is crap no matter how much you say about it or how many people see it.

Get things right in the right order. Sort out what you are going to sell, how you will deliver it and then do the marketing.
