You can always find a way to cash-in on fame.
Even if you are only famous because you are a huge criminal, you can sell your story to some publishing company for cash....or get a "made for tv" movie

Fame would be pretty interested/fun I think. Money is money really, and I don't worship it all that much. Depends what stage I am at in my life though, at the moment I'd be happy with 5 years fame (have enough money, little expenses as is), but if I was struggling to pay off the house than I guess I'd take the cash.

People make cash from their fame. That's why *most* people seek fame. If I was all of a sudden famous and didn't have a dime to my name, I'm sure I wouldn't have a problem coming across some cash for endorsements, appearances, and stuff like that. Shit, I'd sell my own autograph on eBay ;-)
