I Thought I Was Watching Saturday Night Live

i was doing some boring household chores and had the TV on, no idea what channel - dunno why this caught my eye and ear but it was a commericial, for some drug called Prempro - from the look of the advertisement it was for women, either for pre menstrual cramps or maybe menopause, the narrator was talking over all these scenes of women enjoying their active lives with the drug logo at the bottom of the screen - the narrator started warning that if you have high blood pressure, heart condition, history of this history of that ......... i swear to god the warnings didn't stop for over 30 straight seconds, i don't think he missed a disease or a side effect this shit could have - it was absurd, i can't believe anybody would take the drug after hearing this - even said 'it's up to you to decide if it's worth the risk' which included cancer and stroke.

crazy. i know that it's some kind of law that u have to mention the side effects but it's usually done really fast at the end or in small print - this was like a Saturday Night Live commercial parody.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

I've seen a number of these types of commercials, many people have the 'That won't happen to me' mentality, which is of course, famous last words..

After enough campaign donations drug companies were finally allowed to make "go ask your doctor for this prescription" type commercials. I've never head one that had less than 5 warnings. Sounds liek you heard 20, lol.

Happy Fun Ball on SNL, that's one of my favorite commercial parodies
