damn ebay scam

I bought the chanel bag of my dreams (pink multipocket cambon bag). I spent $183 for a $1500 bag so I was happy. Well AFTER I sent the payment he notified Ebay that he just discovered the bag was a fake causing them to remove the listing leaving him with what I think is no legal obligation to complete the transaction!! They sent an email saying we strongly advise you dont complete this transaction (ok too late!) Now I dont even know if Im getting the stupid bag even. He is still selling cambon bags with buy it now and once they pay hell do the same thing. Ebay removed all my listings when I sold adult stuff so this is unbeliavble. I have gotten really cool stuff on Ebay but if people start doing this shit its gonna suck. Will paypal refund my money for this?

Not likely...you have to go back to the seller ,file a complaint but that won't get you anywhere

yes, look around paypal for the section to file complaints, if he doesnt give you a refund, they'll close his account down for at least 180 days, and probably end up issuing you one anyways

If he never delivers I do believe Paypal will get involved, but be aware that if he sends anything at all, even if it is a nicely wrapped shoe or something crazy like that, they won't lay a finger on him.

yeah i forgot to mention that...

if he sends anything WITH a tracking #, they wont look into the case, so go file the complaint ASAP

ok thanks, I dont think hes sending anything. He has his feedback private but it was 90% good so I thought nothing of it. Even if I leave negative feedback no one see it

Always remember...nobody is going to sell you a dollar for 80 cents.....and buying a $1500 bag on ebay for $180 or what ever you said is really dumb...i would try to get the paypal back but better yet look at it as a $180 lesson....i think i learned that at about 5...good luck....

I hope you were expecting to get a fake, even if he did deliver. If people are dealing in fake merchandise you have to expect that risk of getting ripped off.

you have 30 days in which to file a complaint through paypal to get refunded. he'll be required to either provide a tracking number to prove the item was sent, or he'll have to refund.

problem is, if this guy is smart, he could simply ship you a box of packing peanuts close to the end of the 30 days, provide paypal with the tracking number proving he sent something, and you'll get fucked.

so he can only do this about 3-4 times

and besides the point if you send the seller an email saying your gonna complain to paypal most likely they will issue you a refund becuase they know that they are scamming and they dont want to lose there paypal account...it happened to me with a louie vouton purse for my girlfriend

that wont work...just tell the seller that your gonna complain to ebay and paypal guaranteed within mins you will get your refund...the scammer does not want to lose his paypal account...for sure this will work...if you want ICQ me i will help you write the email to the seller...i have a copy of the one i used and it worked for me

If you tell him that your going to complain he will just dump what he has in his paypal account. then its no worry to him. if you get your refund you should complain to paypal anyway.
