    Can I give my "girlfriend" just a dvd player for her 21st bday?

    My "girlfriend"s 21st bday is tomorrow, she just moved into a new place and one of her old roomies took the dvd player (to england). So they have just been watching em on their laptops or whatever.


    Can I buy her just a dvd player or is that too sappy?

    I gotta buy her flowers too don't I? I don't want to spend too much because I don't want her to think I totally like her still because I don't want to hurt her feelings too bad when we inevitably break up for good.


    But I want to watch dvds at her place when I'm over on a larger screen...... can I just buy her a dvd player and no flowers or will she get really pissed?

You know you can shower your girl with gifts every day, week, month or year but a thoughtful gift like a DVD that both of you will enjoy is really sweet. (just don?t tell her you realllllllyyyy want to watch DVDs)
