    Legal question

i'm redesigning a frontend for a fitness site and I'm thinking about purchasing 2 pictures of a male and female to represent as fitness trainers.

Am I allowed to give them fake names and promote them as fitness trainers on my site?

Sorry, I don't know much about this end of business.

    Thanks.

As long as the model release gives you the right to use them in this manner you are fine.

Professional models are used for stuff like that all the time.

the license agreement says this about the content:

"6. you may not use the Image(s) related to identifiable individuals, products or entities for any commercial purpose or in a manner which suggests their association with or endorsement of any product or service."

well what the fuck else are you supposed to use a picture of a man and woman in a business suit for? maybe I can still use them and just not make a fake name or in text state that they're trainers... but just have text near them that says something like, "The HealthyGo Fitness Trainers are dedicated to... " blah blah, even though that does "suggest" they're associated with the service.

        hmm.
