That is similar to a message I got from GoDaddy when I tried to buy a domain yesterday for a client ... I have bought over 100 domains from them, and NEVER had a problem before ... after calling them directly, they informed me that many places, as a measure of fraud protection, are using software that rejects any transactions where the information that you filled out there form with does not match 100% of the info that VISA or MASTERCARD have on file for you ... so if you have moved recently, or if you are using your wife's Mastercard (as I was) it will reject it ... used MY card with address and everything exactly as it appears on my mastercard bill, and it went through on the first try ...
this software is very fussy (and a major PAIN IN THE ASS). If you are indeed using a card with the same name and address as your credit card bill has on it, do what Godaddy suggested to me ... grab the most recent copy of your credit card bill, and type it in EXACTLY as it appears on your bill ... chances are you typed in "STREET" on the form, where Mastercard has your address as "ST." Isn't technology wonderful ????? ![]() ------------------ A boneprone Family Member :D |
