I've used it, but only on a server that hosts my parents network connection. It's pretty tight being able to ALT+TAB between desktops, and the speed on internal LAN is pretty damn quick. You wouldn't even know you were in a terminal session.

i use it all the time from my Mac laptop, its great but can be slow if used over wireless
