Tgp's are just a bunch of ignorant assholes with shitty traffic. When I get told to purchase content, purchase bandwith and get little to no money from their traffic it reminds me of the government.
If my purpose is to sell my sponsers why can't I use my sponser content on 85% of the tgp's? Isn't that what advertising is about?
You people that bitch that there is too much hardcore content out there, stop telling people to buy that content. When you put up galleries that would make a beginner ashamed and refuse mine because one of the 25 pictures is a little fuzzy (I mean just a teeny bit out of focus)or I have 1 too many letters in my text link or whatever other bullshit excuse you can think of just because I didn't give head this morning or give your site 10,000 hit for each 2 hits you give me makes me wonder what kind of crack you smoked this morning when I failed to give you head.
There a few people that actually send enough quality traffic to make it worth my time to deal with their rules, but the one's that send you 20 hits a day and no one even clicks on my sponser you guy make me fucking sick. I hope all of you get ass raped by a rabid monkey.
Stop being so fucking picky. It is just riduculus. If you can't send me any decent traffic, don't tell me how to make my galleries. Don't tell which types of content I can use. Simply put, softcore has NEVER sold for me. So to all of you that think your tgp is going to so special someday, I hope that day is when you show the picture of you and your rabid monkey.

I understand you frustration, I have been their. However, once I started running my own tgp, I understood where the webmasters are coming from.

A few bad apples spoil the bunch is what I am thinking. This is why most of the rules are made. You have spammers, consoles, tons of overused free content that gets submitted to tgps all the time. It becomes tiresome while reveiwing to see the same shit over and over again. So until you run a tgp, the best thing to do is go with the flow.

One thing thats nice is you have tons of tgps to submit to. So you always have a choice.

but after being fucked by hosting companies and getting a little bit of the you pissed me off blues I decided to re dissign so it doesn't look pretty right now. Now when I changed it so that persons had to e-mail their link requests The bullshit stopped. If a person bullfucks you monkey fuck them back. Write to their sponsors giving their linking codes so that they can be removed and lose any money they may have made. Do not tell me how to do my crap because you are to lazy to go after one bozo. I had myself a nice form on my site and one bozo kept sending three submissions a day for the same site in different catagories with a bogus E-mail address. Well their sponsor does not pay them anymore. And the real sad thing is that the form is gone but I still get submissions from the same guy. I am rambling. Oh and lost bush. I submitted some galleries to you the lst few days hope you list them!! Oh and if you want ICQ me at 114900651 with more thoughts on the whole subject I am here at night.

Although if If I see the same sponsor content over and over and over, well, I'm not gonna list it. I have a few hundred people submitting to me every few days, and if someone has submitted your content ahead of you, well, that's tough shit for you! Does that make sense? BUT, it sounds like you KNOW what you're doing with galleries, so SUBMIT THEM and you know what I'll do?? That's right man, I'll LIST THEM, and in a timely fashion too. Get it? I guess that was a pretty piss-poor rant on my part. Just making sure you know that not all tgp's are ultra-strict with the rulez. My rules are basic and not unreasonable. They are the exact rules that I myself abide by when I build and submit my own galleries.

Yes, I've gotten that too, but only when I use that shaven ferret "submit to 450 tgp's" scripty thingy. I used it twice, and no more, it's fucking useless, and so are 99% of the tgp's in that script. I got next to no hits from them, or no listing at all from some, and the next day I got like 40 emails saying that my post had expired. What a pile of shit that is.

For the record, I keep galleries listed on my main page for 3 to 4 days usually, and I archive all the recip galleries permanently.

Good post, its good to get your views out in the open, makes for less stress and bottled up anger. I agree with most of what you say, its why I stopped the TGP game earlier this year. Having said that though, TGP's are great if you have something exclusive and cute to show.

I felt that way about TGPs at first as well. I have pretty big ads on my galleries and have no problem getting the big TGPs to accept me. You simply have to do research - look at the other ones listed. They don't want to see the same stuff over and over. If you can tell something is sponsor content, so can they - they have probably seen it 1,000 times.

Unfortunately, my guess is it is a lot of honest begining webmasters that use the sponsor content (at least they aren't stealing), but you aren't the first one to use it.

If you look at some of these TGPs - they take ads that ARE big, but you have to make the focus of your gallery the gallery. Make yours stand out. Mine are not great, but I try to put a little creativity in to it. I make my own backgrounds, so I know they have never seen that before.

People do make money at TGPs, but I would be willing to bet that 90% of those lost money at first.

I'm simply not going to post 3 galleries of the exact same sponsor's pics on the same update, no way, no how. I just won't happen. I have wayyy too many submissions to have to do that, and even if I didn't, I wouldn't do it anyway. There are other ways of getting original content. I've produced no less than 4,000 amateur-style pics of my own over the past 2 years, and I employ lots of different ways of attracting new models all the time. The local girls want work! I bet that holds true in just about any community.
(except for parts of the bible belt, and .... vatican city)

I realized I should explain something. The sponsor I use is not a very well known sponser. I have only seen it on two or three other sites. And yes I still look at alot of porn.
I see so many sites on major tgp's that have content from places like ars and other places that everyone has used content from at one point. I just get tired of the hypocrasy.

I've had no problems finding or producing content, why are you? Shit, a digital camera with software is only $400 bucks nowadays, and with that you can produce all the amateur-style content you will ever need or want. Also, I don't know how you could only have gotten 9 hits for a recip gallery on BGN! I constantly add a few of my own galleries in similar places as yours would have been in my list, and those trackers show more like hundreds (not thousands) per day. Hundreds is the best I can do right now, but it's still in it's first year. I've been submitting to many many tgp's for a good while now too, and I know that mine sends out more than many, less than many too. I submitted a no-recip to porndojo.com for example, and I only got about 25 hits the 1st day. I usually submit to all the auto-submit tgps in waycool, and I don't see a whole ton of hits from there either, maybe combined they send decent hits, but individually they don't send as many as I do. I'm confused by your results, you must not have had a catchy description? URL offline part of the time? Tracker code boned up some? I don't know, honestly. I can show you my own gallery stats if you want, or you can check the stats of some of my trades, the largest of which is about 900 per day (unreciprocated, from gregpix.com)

Don is my producer, and my brother.
His company (a "B" movie horror video production company) hires my company to do website promotion, talent recruitment and some light webmastering duties.
His special f/x editing is awesome by today's standards, and some people feel that his stuff is too gruesome to be allowed shown on the net, and are trying to ruin him, and by association, myself as well.
Dr Don has taken his skill onto the net and managed to build up a successful extreme-niche paysite that was bringing in well over $5k per month in profit, that is until the censorship crowd came after us. Due to both of our efforts, the site is slowly regaining it's membership base, and it will soon be more productive than ever (thanks in part to my oh-so-amazing design and promotional talents )
Anyone suggesting that we won't be around in the long term is sadly mistaken. None of my sites or Don's are going anyplace but upwards, including the sites like "sites against censorship" where I have pledged to assist other webmasters that may fall prey to the same sort of small-mindedness that we have.

Also, you may have missed my earlier comment, that my rules are not only for my submitters, but they apply to me as well. I submit to many other tgp's too, and I abide by my own rules as well as theirs (if different). If they don't list me, I don't bitch, I just make a few adjustments and try again. If I get no signups it's not their fault, it's mine, period. So then I try different designs, different ad strategies, I don't blame others for my own failures EVER.

FYI -- I review about 130 galleries per day now, and can tell you that I see all kinds. Some guys simply use the same template for every single one of their galleries, and if that works for them, great. Some guys describe every one of their galleries the same every time -- "naked babes getting nasty" or what-have-you, even if the babe depicted ISN'T getting nasty, they still use that descrip. Again, whatever works for you.

Me? I live by the credo that "in business, diversity is the spice of life", at least when it comes to your income source base and your ad strategies. Keeping the surfer constantly surprised, amused and guessing is what I try to do, thus my galleries all look different in some way, from color scheme to general design and layout. But that's just me. Find what works for you, but remember that most well-run tgp's won't list galleries that use annoying popups, blind linked thumbs, auto-downloading bullshit, and anything that generally fucks his surfers over. If I were to just list every single submission I receive including these shitty ones, I'd soon have NO return traffic to off you.

There's more to this than just what appears on the surface bro. Think about it.
