What do I need to package my own video files and insert the key id and license acquisition url?

Are there any alternatives to Microsoft?

This process is a patented process owned by Microsoft. That's why no one else has it.

With WMRM there are several ways to encrypt your content. There is a way to do this with an FTP system that goes through an uploaded packager and another is a script for the WM Encoder. There is also the ability to use a client side, custom packager to do this.

DRM Networks currently provide all three methods.
