Im a huge fan of 500x100 as opposed to 468x60.
But I would use HPA more than banners. |

Whatever is available..
horizontal(468x80 or so), vertical(80x460 or so), button(120x60 or so), oddsized(300x200 and 200x300 or so), FPA.. All the "classic" sizes really.
