				What ever happend to WebTV???
			 It never really took off. I had bought one years ago, well actually about 6 years ago. Never liked it. Does anyone still use it? Sounded like a billiant idea.

 I think you will see the major TV networks playing a huge roll in the future online. I think there will be "super sites" set up like the AOL network which have on line style TV broadcasting mixed with the full function of a basic webpages. A TV style box would be the prefect solution for something like that..

				 | the problem was it was slow and it had rendering problems, it's browser sucked ass, and you really needed a keyboard to run it, and it became somewhat of a joke. how many guys would admit in their office they don't have acomputer cause they used WebTv?

				 | I still have nightmares of my webtv days back in 98 when I first got online.. 6 monthes of that till I built my first pc.. I still see a webtv sign up to my site from time to time..

				 | It was ahead of its time The Web TV model will be the way entertainment is delivered in the future...it's not a theory....it is fact......Most of my time is concentrated on how to get an early jump on IP delivery to the TV We have our own set top box and have been working very hard at forging the right relationships to be one of the first really pushing traffic this way |

				 | What they really need to do is combine a T1 with the standard 110 plug so when they power up a house, its in every house, every room and it's done. No need for both anymore.
