Load is pretty slow, (even with bw).

yeah.. the top graphic seems really heavy.
also, it seems your outlinks seem a little excessive. you only have 1 link going to your tour for the gallery and then 3 banner links going to top sites and a different tour.
try changing the graphics on the left and on the right of the thumbs to text instead of one large graphic.
keep at it.

Looks k, loads slow.
Your main graphic (with your logo and all the comic covers) is 460k. I did a quick conversion of it to jpg and managed to bring it down to 114k with no effor. optimize the graphic and then slice it up some, have the logo in a separate graphic for example.
The thumbs you have of the various comic covers are all around 6-7k each, these will knock down to 2k each with very little work.
the difference (besides load time) will save you money in the long run.
Right now, just on your graphics (not including your outlinks) you have approx 564k in page weight. This means that you will eat up a gig of bw for every 1773 hits. Using the weights I got them to quickly (they could have been taken further down with more time) gets you a weight of around 146k or 6849 hits per gig of bw.All cookies cleared!Comment
