Audiotards: Will the average tard ever catch on to DVD-Audio?
Seems like every store now has a small section for it... 400,000 sold in 2003 vs 300,000 SACDs.
Every tard I try to explain the format to just stares blankly at me and goes "duh.. like a music video?". What gives? Are people really this stupid? |

I actually haven't seen too many places selling them. Seems like it's just mostly high end audiophiles grabbing them up, especially the SACDs.
I think the average person is too busy pirating 128kb MP3's to be worried about better quality music formats. Plus most people want something they can listen to in their car CD player, which you can't do with DVD-A, but you can with most SACDs. |

Fuck I hope so. Better quality is - well, better. They need to start coming out with DVD audio head units for cars.
Of course people are now getting used to having a thousand songs on an mp3 player, a single album disc might feel like a step backwards. |
