I don't want to get into a huge debate about it - just having some hair seems to be a symbol of manliness or virility or whatever.

For example, one of my best friends is totally into bodybuilding but on the flip side he's very metrosexual and shaves his entire body and has been for years even before it became en vogue.

That's cool for him - it's just personally not my thing. What I'm really saying, is on me personally, I think I would look too femmy without any body hair at all. But I also like having body hair and like women who are not totally shaved as well - it's just a personal preference - I don't get this big cultural movement towards being totally hairless - adults are supposed to have hair on their bodies - it's not a bad thing.
