Anyone know what the postal regs are regarding downed mailboxes? Mine got knocked down by the last Hurricane, so we fixed it, but the next day we still got some gusts and it went over again, so we fixed it again, better this time, lol. I haven't received mail since the damn hurricane, though, like the asshole isn't even bothering to check when he runs his route. It's a pretty rural area...the next box up on his route is out of view from mine. Can he do that? Do I have to notify them that it is fixed or what? I'm freaking out b/c I am waiting on a $189 check and my electric bill is $188 and due, like, on the 3rd.

I would definately ask people here on gfy about YOUR local postal delivery problems, that makes good sense. In less time then it took you to write that story, you could have called them and most likely had your mail delivered already. Now this is just my opinion. You are more then welcome to wait for the us postal service to come here, then read your post, then contact you to fix this issue for you.![]() |

But hey, whatever.....I know I'm grumpy. Natural disasters have that effect on me. In the time you took to respond, you could have rubbed one out and improved one of our moods, at least. ![]() |
