Shaun Of The Dead

Just sat through a brilliant new movie last night, Shaun Of The Dead. It pays homage to all the Zombie films ever made, and was bloody brilliant.

It's out on DVD here in the UK, but I hear that it's about to hit the cinemas out there in the States next week.

It's well worth catching if you get the chance. Funny, scary and very well made.

"He's got an arm off!"

I think Dawn Of The Dead (1979) was the best by far. The recent remake was good but not in the same class.

Shaun Of The Dead is just so fucking cool. Loads of winks to the original zombie movies, you care about the charactors, and tons going on in the background behind the Actors.

Both Peter Jackson and George A Romero think it's superb.

Nuff said!

i am seeing it in the next couple days but my friends haven't shut up about how funny it was since they saw it in the cinema. The adverts for it on the tube crack me up. I like the new one with him holding a cricket bat...so british, I am sure I will love it.

Don't get your hopes up to much. It's good but not brilliant.

There are a few rolling on the floor crying type moments, but the rest is pretty average.

yeah, that can be a problem with hype. Shortly after my friends saw it in the cinema we were out in Soho and some guy randomly stopped him in the street and started talking about the movie. Hadn't seen a film be groundlevel like that in a long time.

I much prefer being pleasantly suprised by a movie with bad reviews than slightly disapointed by a movie with good review
