Toodamnfli... your a joke man... You should try to edit that thread before too many people read it and figure out the kindergarten plan you've hatched to totally avoid this fight that you asked for... I've known you both forever. PL since he was 18 minus a few hustlin' ARS to death. TDF is part of my family as far as I'm concerned. How about you both zip it up before I put the money up and call both your hoe cards? Discuss... :) SixNine |

leaving the industry shit isn't realistic...
ppl have dozens of nicks and it's easy to use an offshore LLC for sponsor stuff. I'd suggest sticking to the 10k. That's clear and easily enforcable. It's so close make it happen. Quote:

1) he calls you out and wants to box you at a webmaster show. simple. harmless. resolve a conflict, shake hands and walk away men. 2) you have a list of terms. 3) you then reason that he won't put up the money and agree to your terms so he must not want to fight you. 4) you further use the logic that his putting up $10K is not serious if he is 100% sure he will win, but not 100% sure he will put up the money. 5) you are 100% sure you will win. 6) you will not agree to his putting up the 10K on the terms that you leave the biz and give him your sites... but you are sure you will win. 7) you now have the chance to make 10K by beating up some guy who you are so concerned about health wise, that you insist he gets a doctors ok before he fights... yet you continue to accuse him of avoiding a fight with you. all you have to do is just say "ok" or "no thank you sir, i don't care to box anyone" - why all the BS and shit talking? be a man. :2 cents: |

How is 10,000 resonable? You should go down to an amatuer boxing ring and talk to the coaches and ask them how many knock outs they see in competition. These are guys who train multiple times a week and box all the time and they are not knocking each other out usually. 3 rounds of footwork, feeling each other out, left jabs, whiffed uppercuts and right crosses. Few flurries when they hear the woodblock then decision time.
So do you think these two are going to get into the ring and have an epic battle like Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier? I mean I do not know these guys personally but I do not think either one of them has been training to fight in any form. Ever seen two people who are not trained strap on boxing gloves and throw akward arching punches with clumsy footwork at each other? 10,000 is not a small amount of money, I do not care how much money you have 10k on something this abstract is a lot of money. I am not trying to play into any mancho bs or insult anyone to get them to do it but 10k is not reasonable it is a request to make it worth his time but it is not at all reasonable. He does not really want to fight (not saying he is scared or anything) just saying he does not see this worth his time is all and nothing short of being payed what IS a pretty good amount of money is going tomake it happen. If you were asked to put the money up to see this would any of you do it? If so, like the man says start up a pool and put the money in till it gets to 10k, if it does not get there then give everyone their money back, this is kinda like selling tickets in a way |
what? they won't make it 3 rounds and definately won't be "feeling each other out". they will flap at each other in a wild panic for about 1 min and all we can hope for is that someone will get lucky before they collapse of exhaustion.
amateur fights are always more entertaining than pro fights. good boxers are boring to watch. :1orglaugh |
I called Rodriguez Boxing Club, but didn't get an answer. Evidently they host charity events all the time.
Update... 10k U.S.D. Purse for winner. (possible sponsor sixnine) Flight/Hotel (tdf covered already by pleaurepays) Physical for tdf (I'd est. cost at about $75) Referee (what $60/hr? for a certified ref?) Ring (can't be that expensive, again maybe $150/hr?) [/QUOTE] |

Depends on what you want to see, if you like the art of combat then amatuer or the lighter weight fighters will be your thing. If you want knock outs, which is what the masses care about, then it is heavy weight pro all the way. Lewis is thought to be one of the most boring heavy weight boxers because he is a technical boxer same with hollyfield. So once again, who is going to pay 10k+ for this? |
This has just taken a total turn
I say we just let this thread die, and save further aggravation. No one is going to fight, and its very obvious. I don't understand the need for all sorts of crazy requests and shit talking. :321GFY :( |
in alaska, there have these amateur fights in bars that are very cool. they just ask them what experience they have... everyone says "huh... i have no experience" and then a bunch of semi-pro fighters proceed to beat the shit out of drunk idiots. I saw the same in Orlando. very entertaining.

It is...amateur fights are the best.

TDF is ready, I'll be in his corner.. He needs a crazy ass cracker to yell and scream...
TDF you got this!! Represent yo shit!!!! |
I'm still here...
If Sixnine puts up the $10,000 to the winner.. we get a ref and some unbiased judges.... I'll pass on my previous demand of TDF needing a physical.. just want some legal writing that clears me of lawsuit/liability of possible medical injuries Also someone needs to pay for my airfare... Toodamnfli said he would.. but don't know if thats still a green light... I'm good to go on this... BTW.. when is the phoenix convention? |
I've met platinum at a couple of shows that dude is pretty big...i wouldnt mess with him

It sounds to me like PL is trying to sell some wolf tickets...
This shit should just get handled.. Just step into the ring and go apeshit.. When we were all kids if we wanted to fight we would fight.. If we got kicked out of school we didnt give a shit, cuz that was how it went down.. |
