Porn Valley- Heather Hampton's webmaster Ivy Faulkner slammed her this weekend. http://www.********.com/read.aspx?ID=5834. And for reasons Hamptons said she can't begin to fathom.

Faulkner's not telling the whole story says Hampton who agreed to a 50-50- split on revenues from the heatherhamptons.com website with Faulkner. But she'd wind up with usually less than 10%, Faulkner tells me. Hampton's said her site, according to info she was getting, was making maybe $300 a month of which Hamptons would get about $23, according to her. Also, according to Hamptons, Faulkner's claims that she didn't meet the obligations as far as her contract were full of crap.

Faulkner's stories regarding the numbers of times Hamptons updates change several times, said Hamptons who's been spending time rehabilitating from a breast augmentation. Hamptons said she hired Faulkner in January to take over the design work of her website. "It's a 50-50 partnership," Hamptons said. "She doesn't work for me and I don't work for her. We just do things together with both of us having a say." Hamptons said the agreement didn't work like that at all. Hamptons also claims that Faulkner managed to lock her out of CCBill so she couldn't see how much money was coming in. Hamptons said she would get notification when someone signed up, how much they signed up for and the amount of time. "I knew what was coming in but I couldn't verify it with CCBill," Hamptons says. "I was only getting $23 checks. There was $300, $400 coming in and I'm only getting a $23 check per month. That's not 50%"

Hamptons says the reason Faulkner seems to think she's in breach of contract to update stems from seven weeks ago when she had a breast augmentation. "I'm still trying to recover from that," said Hamptons. Along with that, Hamptons has discovered some additional complications. "I found a lump and they think it' a cyst."

In most businesses they work well with both parties striving to make 2 people equal the work of 3, but in this industry it seems too often a recipe for disaster.

you're right, but in many situations a model or photographer needs a partner to run the nuts n bolts stuff and most importantly supply the traffic - there should be some good marriages here, one party brings exclusive content/model, the other brings in the traffic - but much more often than not i hear disappointment.

it can work though - if both sides live up to their promises.

I would have to go with Ivy too but on the other hand Ivy should of included a statement with the check so there was no bullshit. If most of the sign ups come from Affiliates and its such a low number , I can see making nothing. I agree partnerships with models are very tough, I had two they were nightmares.

I have emails dating back to MARCH , weekly where I continually had to beg for content to update the site with. The site was updated and did well from Jan-March , then updates stopped or were sporadic, and here we are in Sept. when I finally enforced my contract.

EXACTLY..... and in this case, all the model was required to do was provide content of herself on a weekly basis, which was not done. It's that simple.

Websites don't run themselves, and single model sites don't work well at all if the model stops adding content of herself.

I should have enforced my contract long ago, but I played into the excuses from I don't know what to shoot, to my camera is broken, to I have no driver license, 2 kids and my man doesn't get home until late, to the most recent which was how she had gained so much weight all she could shoot were closeups. So I said...ok...shoot closeups then! But ahhh...there is no photographer near her and she can't drive and has no babysitter and..............WELL YOU GET THE POINT !

LMAO Heather's updates became sporadic in March and basically stopped after that. Her boob job was in July.

On top of that, I havent seen one signup in serveral weeks. I have fallen off of google, which make sit harder for people to get to me.

I think that the site likely never even made that. I'm posting a screen cap below. I stuck with it because of Heathers continued apologies and excuses and I kept hoping she would start updating it again. When she was updating regularly-Debut-March, the site was beginning to grow.

So No, it never made money because she stopped being active on it and updating. Which is why it isn't worth the drama Heather is trying to create over it.

It was time to give my attention and time to the models in my network that do update their sites on a weekly basis and are active on their sites. That's the only way a single model site-an official site- makes bank

Yes, it most certainly did not make the money to justify it's portion of my server bill, ccbill fees and registration fees, money I spent for gallery templates, etc. etc. and of course the time I did spend promoting it and doing updates.

But...she has some of those rebilling members that forgot they are being rebilled ...hehe....so I just leave it up for the rebills. If I don't spend time on it anymore, it's not costing me much and any amount of $ in combination with all my sites is ok with me
