How does having to put the shit together yourself save you time?

And before someone says that IKEA merchandise isn't shit, IT IS. You should know where they source that stuff from, you'd never buy it if it was sold in another store...

I some times think our studio looks like the IKEA showroom. :1orglaugh

IKEA is perfect "first furniture" for your place. The office here is all IKEA tables, bookcases and shelves.

I love the AS IS department at IKEA, many items are 50% off that are in perfect condition.

stuff is ugly garbage.

if you want to look like a poor piece of shit, buy ikea and show it off to your friends!

When you buy a bed, you surely can just pay the IKEA employees and they will do it for you. But when you buy small things, you won't ask them for it.... So you have to do it by yourself.

Fuckers :BangBang:

I think I need some :glugglug

You get what you pay for.

IKEA is all particle board furniture from what I could see. You bump a corner and that stuff breaks apart.

Reak 09-19-2004 06:56 AM

I'm not very good with putting things together and I can figure it out.

Some people can write programs and get stuck opening the door. :1orglaugh

my girlfriend and i are huge ikea addicts.

her entire bedroom at her house is furnished by ikea.

all my trinkets like shelves, picture frames, utensils, candles, tupperware, glasses, hand towels, toilet paper holder, coat racks, etc are ikea. my dining room and living room set are ikea.

only my office and bedroom don't have ikea furniture, but i might get an ikea desk for the office.

zazzouche 09-19-2004 08:25 AM

Ikea's stuff looks good but never lasts, you end up paying more to replace it. But for Uni and getting started they are just great. I always end up buying more than i need with every trip in there.
