Is TGP traffic quality traffic? I guess its not, the TGP visitors only checks out the pics and then goes to the next gallery, right? Isnt it hard to get signups, or even clicks with TGP?

You just need a great layout, not all spread out full of the BS text come ons and all of that. Precise advertising works best..

Something gallery makers forget that DOES transfer over to us directly from most ALL surfers...

We are the Carnies with the come ons... Do NOT treat the surfer as a Rube.. Build up trust with your galleries! They may not buy on their first time on one of your galleries but give them nice pages with no BS and they will remember. And perhaps buy on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th visit.

TGP traffic sucks balls....but some TGPs got a bit better traffic than other TGPs. The major thing that matters when posting galleries is your sponsor. If it doesnt conver - tell them to GFY. Use a sponsor that is not used on other galleries. And if it's not converting, believe me - get another.

From my experience, TGP traffic is about as bad as it gets. TGP sites themselves are very unproductive with the exeption of Thumbzilla and maybe 1 or 2 others. Why would a serfer buy a membership to a pay site when he gets THOUSANDS of images a day for free! How Fuckin stupid do you think surfers are?

I think TGP's traffic is awesome

I am getting 10 or more signups a day converting them 1 in 175

I think they are pretty fuckin stupid but I gotta give them some credit.

Making a sale with TGP traffic with a sponsor such as Amateur Pages or Top Cash or something like that can be quite difficult. When you have your own Pay Site, you can make a sale much easier. You can use quality images that reflect whats inside the Pay Site. I am in the process of building a Pay site and a webmaster program. I'll bet I can convert nicely on TGP'S then but when your trying to sell someone elses site on Galleries,its pretty tough.

Forget TGP traffic for anything other then sponsors. However, I have found if you have unique pictures, and trade with other amateur sites, let them have some pictures to put in their members area. That traffic is pretty good.
One reason is, the members already paid to be a member of a site, they have a form of payment and are willing to become a member.

If they like what the see in that site, and visit your site from there, then you have a better chance that they will become a member, better then someone looking at free pictures.
TGP traffic does get some sales though, the best way to utilize it is to set up your own personal mail list, mail out a free pic or 2 every week, include the link to your site, they will come back over and over and sooner or later, they might become a member. That is one of the advatages of TGP traffic.

I hope nobody that runs these TGP's will mind if I post this but I figured I would share my conversions from various TGP's. These stats were current as of about 5 minutes ago and are from 2.5 of my galleries that were posted a couple of months ago with the exception of "Amateur Sex Galleries" which is 90% search engine traffic and has no sales (go figure..lol) The reason I say 2.5 of my galleries is because I think I may have had my last gallery posted on a few of the TGP's but can't be sure which ones, the Hun and Mark's have definitely only posted 2 so far. Badmoon, I have no idea...lol it was alot of them. I just grab some coffee and hit Waycool's list once in awhile. I probably made it about 1/5th of the way down the "no recip" list once and auto submitted one other time for that $67 worth of sales. I would submit to more of them if I could stop myself from reading the rules each time but since day one I have almost always read the rules on each TGP or link site before I submitted and that takes some serious time when you have a fifth grade education...lol
I do however try my best to keep track of the date and where I submittted to so when I get time I can go back and do some more with galleries that have sold good.

TGP surfers hit banners less but the ratios are the best of any form of traffic for our program since they dont hit the banners unless they are really interested.

Our sites TGP ratios range from

1:50 up to 1:150 the highest.

Yeah all traffic is good traffic but it is easy to overpost on a TGP site and some TGP sites are more useless than others.

It's a lot of work but carefull placement and meticulous tracking can make a fair amount of money. I think the real key though is to use a mix of partnership and clickthrough programs.

Original or unique images also tend to get you better placement on TGPs. I have my own content and consistently get placed at the top of the daily lists on a number of big TGPs.
