i've been playing it for awhile now.. currently in phase 3 beta.. it's amazing.. but then, would anything made by blizzard be anything less than stellar?
yes you need a key.. i'd be very surprised if there are any keygens.. (its internet verified)
the only way to get a key is to either ask a blizzard employee to add ur name to the queue (even so, your chances are low at this point) or to buy a key off ebay..

The stress test is ending tonight.
Got my human warrior to level 19.
It's a very nice game, but they are still going to make major changes before the release.
A lot of lives will be ruined because of this game. People starting to call it World of Warcrack.

not sure what you saw, but WoW has a SHITLOAD of missions.. as for boring, i'm guessing your friend was on the PvE server... life is far from boring on the PvP server... in fact, it's anything but boring.. most lvl 20+ territories are "free for all" areas, which means there's nothing to stop an enemy lvl 50 from ganking you..
