Thank you for sharing your story Tam. I get shivers when I think of all the people that died/got hurt on that day and because of terrorism/war all over the world. Reading all the threads today (including the bumped ones) made me sick to my stomage (again). I still can't believe that humans can do this to eachother, you must be without any feelings if you can kill someone else that never did anything to you.

I agree... this was very close to home to me when it ripped at my kids the way it did. Having to explain to them why people kill people was extremely tough.

I am fascinated with serial killers for this reason you mentioned here. What gets ina persons head to just go killing people, and what gives them their base on who to kill and why.. and so on and so forth. It just baffles me sometimes, and when this hit, it was something that hit my kids as well.. so it just got into me more and more. I don't get why people do this to people, and then when you read about them, friends and family say how nice they were/are and so on.... it just freaks me the hell out, is all.

They have done studies on them and in most cases, it is a malfunction in the front part of their brains, I can't remember now exactly what section, but it was in the front. I could probably find it in 10 minutes. I have studied them and watched documentaries on them. I've always been fascinated with them, but since I became a parent, it got worse because I never want my kids to have such problems in their lives that they resport to something like this. I don't protect them from the realities of the world, but I also try and be here for them to try my best to explain things to the best of my ability to them.
