Do you still buy content?

Assuming you don't own any paysites, do you still buy content from content providers?

If you're a webmaster, you buy content. Or do you mean as opposed to stealing it?

I think he meant as opposed to getting it from sponsors for free

I still buy content. I use sponsor content occasionaly, esp. from the smaller sponsors who sometimes get exclusive, so for a couple weeks the content is still fresh and never-before-seen.

i have compassion for content people but honestly most are complete idiots, brokers are greedy, they helped sow the seeds of their own downfall.licensed content providers should never have allowed for any of their content to be used for 'free content' or 'hosted galleries' - not unless they got 5 times what the license price was.

Rarely ... no use for extra content since most paysites are willing to give you open access to their member aeras if you provide enough signups

A lot of people still buy content for their own galleries rather than rely on sponsors.

Mutt, I doubt very much if you earn from a set what we do, so who has the right business model?

But I agree with you about brokers, we do some brokering and I'm seriously thinking some are shaving, only an opinion based on our limited experience. Or are we just doing a lot bwetter for our shooters we broker for?

that is what i was asking.

It seems to me like earlier sponsors content was shit and only a few sponsotrs offered it and therefore it became overexposed in a few weeks, but nowadays this might no longer be the case.

Of course. Sponsor content is generally far too over-exposed to be useful for some things. Gotta agree with Mutt though - nothing pisses you off more than to pay for content only to find you hit the same problems as using the free sponsor stuff ie everyone and their dog has already used it.

i use to, but then i had trouble finding what i wanted or galleries/free sites got declined for overused content.

not to mention i think its 10x better to use content that matches the site you're promoting.
