Gallery redirection?

Ummm... How can I put this so I don't sound like a mofo... I've got this gallery listed on several smaller TGP's and it's pulling in some half-ass decent traffic. Thing is, my counter says that (it's been listed for a couple of days) around 10% of the traffic the gallery's getting is bookmarker traffic. Honestly, I'm not interested in freeloaders bookmarking my gallery only so they can come back together and jerk off. So, if I redirected this bookmarker traffic, would it affect my "rep" with the TGP's? Would they even notice it?!?! I think they wouldn't, but what if one of the TGP owners bookmarks the gallery for him/herself?

BTW, I was thinking of redirecting it to a blind-click sponsor, anyone knows of a good one who will accept this type of traffic?

Don't do it. There are lots of webmasters who bookmark a tgp that they post too alot. You wouldnt want them to get redirected also. As well, most counters consider bookmark traffic, anything that doesnt have a referer. Which means it could be someone just typing in your url.

Well, yeah, tyoing in my URL. I consider that freeloader traffic, since it's not productive in any way...

The person typing it in could have gotten the url from a friend. Very often a friend icq's me a gallery that they think I would like. If you redirect that traffic then you are possibly also getting rid of a sale. Because if someone thought that I would be interested in that gallery, then there is a good chance I am also interested in your sponsors if they match the gallery well.

Sounds more like wish-thinking, but what the fuck, I guess I'll leave it up... I was thinking I'd make more of 2K of blind clicks than 2K of freeloaders burning my bandwidth...

stop wasting your time,
and just move on making another gallery,,
in the long run your just screwing yourself,,
alot of major tgp's got bots that check for redirection not to metion surfers tellin on you,,,

besides i wouldn't trust counter stats especially if its 10%,,which seems highly unlikely,,,

its best to leave all your galleries intact..Archived galleries can make alot of money in the long run,,,

just grap three of them galleries you made and slap an AVS page,,

just another hot tip from me
