    Sponsors and no pop-ups?

Windows SP2 is blocking all pop-ups! How many sponsors do you think will keep paying $35 for pay per signup? Is the future console free programs only and what sponsors will drop the regular pay per signup programs soon? Sponsors if you read this post your thoughts/plans.

Or you could do business with established 50/50 recurring programs that count on good product and retention not pop ups and cross bills. If you find one that retains you can create a very effective annuity that will last through ups and downs in the industry.

Now remember that not everybody will be downloading SP2. In a recent article it stated that 51% of the US has broadband. A lot of the 49% dialup probably won't update since it's a large download. Then you can count on the people that don't do much on the net or have the tech know-how to update to SP2. Then think about the people that go to sites (like banking) that need to pop a window. Some will add sites to their safe list, others will disable the popup blocker. So I think it'll still be a way to generate revenue, the rev. will just dip down. It's up to the pps program to come up with a new way of generating income.

And some will have a lot of problems then they have installed to SP2. Many programs/Games will not work, therefore many will not update.
Others still use 95/98/2000 and there is no SP2 for them. Allso cracked versions of XP will not be able to update.
