RICO Act

Who do you wish they'd hit first in this industry?

I have my eyes on a few that I'd love to see all their assets seized and get sent to Federal Pound Me In The Ass Prison.

I predict 2006-7 will be the year it takes a while to build a solid case, and to be honest they wont need whitness protection in this business and people here will flip the second a federal agent rings their bell.

My advice to people in this business is as follows:

Pay your taxes (something that most here do not do)

Do not deal with companies who have shaddy biling tactics "REGARDLESS HOW MUCH MONEY YOU CAN MAKE OVERNIGHT"

Dont provide hosting, billing or other services to these people.

Growing up in New York ive seen first hand the power of the rico act, ive seen 4 buses pull up in front of federal court and unload over 80 people involved in a stock scam including secretaries and a guy who worked for a telecom provider.

Doesnt mean everyone goes to prison but trust me you dont want to be involved in a trial.

The average RICO indictment takes right around 6 years from start of the investigation to convening the grand jury.

The average grand jury returns indictments in about six hours though ;)
