yeah, www.domainsite.com and www.dd24.net are doing the same thing. it's been going on for a few days now.

i regged mine through domainsite. you don't have to be an existing customer and you don't have to give credit card info,

i tried with domainsite.com and the domains i registred from them are still not alive

Who wants a .info domain anyway? On top of that, you have to pay to renew them if you want to keep them next year.

You mean mass find good domain names and auto register them? I don't want to abuse it only helps me find good domains and I register them by hand

I think it's cause .info was not selling too well so lot's of places are giving one free year and hope you renew 2nd year.

Depends on where you register, all have different prices. If you regiser a domain name and bring traffic to it, then it's not worthless anymore.
