2 hurricanes down
2 hurricanes down and another on the way.. but I finally got my power back early this morning... No real damage at my place except some minor water damage.. I have a bunch of pics but I'll put them up later.

Glad you got through them ok, too. We had some trees down, and my skylight in my bathroom is leaking now. The skirting under the house was torn off, too. Other than that, and the minor inconvenience of about 6 hours without power, we made it ok, as well. We had friends just a few miles away had a BUNCH of trees down and no power for 2 days.
The scariest part for us was when we got word of two tornados spotted less than five miles from my house, and our power was off, so we had to rely on friends to hit us up with the Nextel to keep us updated. Had all my kids and the friends we had over in our hallways with mattresses. Scary scary scary. |

it's been an unbelievable summer.. we have another hurricane on the way and i still am yet to have my power restored from the last one.
called FPL and they told me i would have power by Friday at 11:45 p.m. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I am glad everything is okay< I have a lot of family in Florida that were in the hurricane mix, luckily their lives were spared, however, a lot of damange and loss of jobs will occur. IT is definitely a sad situation.
