The River Man: Anyone watch it?

Decent movie if you're expecting some kind of movie about Ted Bundy...LOL...but if you watched it to learn more about the Green River killer..then see what you can glean out of the 5-10 minutes they actually focus on him.

I still don't get why they call it The River Man why didn't they call it The Death Row Man.

Damn man I thought I was the only one who watched that. I didn't get why the title focused on the Green River killer either. Ah well I guess...

I thought it was good. I want to order the real Bundy confession tapes though.

Cary Elwes did a good job of not portraying The Green River Killer.

And yeah those tapes are probably pretty interesting.

I had it on while I was working. I didn't have time to watch it closely, but what I heard of it seemed to be pretty good.

I see a designer interest in serial killers. ;) I really get into that stuff. Check out "The Milwaukee Murders" ... Pretty good read about Dahmer.

Was that footage at the end of the GRK the real guy? If not he did a REALLY good job of acting like he was actually insane.

LOL I noticed that.

We have Court TV on here about 50% of the day and CNN the other 50%. We hardly ever watch anything else, except maybe Nick at Nite on occasion. I love my 80's shows.

I have CNN on pretty much 24/7 with breaks for the real CSI type shows on discovery and Dave Chappelle and The Daily Show. The serial killer thing really intriques me though. The way their mind works is facinating to me.

When Ridgway confessed a year or two ago, the detectives interviewed him for hundreds of hours. It's now available on DVD -- every minute of it -- believe it or not. The bits and pieces I've seen were pretty bland and repetitive though, as Ridgway is not nearly as intelligent or charismatic as Ted Bundy (though just as evil).

I've got it on Tivo but I haven't watched it yet. I read the book a few months ago, so I'm interested in seeing it when I have time to really sit down and watch it.

I did jump to the end and the guy at the very end talking about being the GRK isn't Gary Ridgeway. This is Gary Ridgeway.
