Car Bomb Explodes As Baghdad Governor's Convoy Passes By
BAGHDAD, Iraq Sept. 7, 2004 ? A car bomb exploded in the Iraqi capital Monday as the Baghdad governor's convoy was passing by, the Interior Ministry said.
Gov. Ali al-Haidri survived the apparent assassination attempt in west Baghdad, said Ministry spokesman Col. Adnan Abdel Rahman. |
