This sounds so much like the 1970s when I was in high school, and the girls who got knocked up, pretty much had to leave town. Whether they had an abortion, or continued with the pregnancy.

My ex's daughter had one last summer, and I know of two other friend's whose daughters have had them in the last year or so.

In each case the girl was not sexually active with more than their boyfriend.

Sexually active girls (I like to call them sluts, but I use the word in a positive way, unlike the way it is used in this thread) are much likely to take measures to insure that they do not pregnant.
