I have pretty high se listings across the board for a certain niche, and started promoting a new sponsor heavily. Ive sent 53 signups in the past 48 hours, and asked for a login to the site so i can check it out to see how well it would retain, as it's not a PPS site.

his answer:
'we dont give out free memberships'

fuck that, glad i only rotated that program in on 2 sites.

If you've made more than a couple sales any sponsor should realize you are not just a surfer requesting a free membership. Stupid of them to not at least offer you a one time lookin. Being able to honestly tell your surfers exactly how great it is can only increase ratios.

30-40 signup's a month is pretty nice for any affiliate in the biz, its not that bad.

The problem is not the number of sign ups.
Its not that shocking to have those sort of numbers for a program within that amount of time.

actually we already promote you guys, allie gave my partner a user/pass a while ago as well, love the site because the tour has that 'personal' touch, and its great how there's a story behind every sample photo on the tour, probably why the conversions are doing well.
