I wouldnt say 'biggest', but one of the more expensive - for something that we do for about half their pricing, and with better service.

It really isnt pro-active management they provide, its reactive unless you pay even more.

Pro-active is what is default with all services provided for us, and we do mainstream and adult

Akamai specializes more in content distribution, like if you wanted to stream some content to a few million users they could setup a nice load balanced solution that's a bit more complex than round-robin DNS.

EV1 is the biggest general US server provider as far as I know.

1und1 aka 1and1 aka strato aka puretec aka so many other names (sub companies) is the biggest world wide as far as I know.

Web hosts are not really "adult" or "non-adult" because they always host everything....... We host a significant amount of non-adult and the networks who claim to be the biggest and etc are also hosting alot of adult. The main difference is that hosts who started with alot of adult, such as SplitInfinity, have learned more faster and we are therefore ahead of the curve technology and experience wise..... We know how to keep a network running, even under DoS attacks and hackers and large volumes of traffic....... for many other hosts, when those issues happen, they are caught off-guard and do not know what to do.
