no shit! It happend to me too
 what are you running to get rid of it? I used Ad-aware and SPybot, but I still cant get rid of the fucking toolbars that it installed!

Do you have XP SP2 installed? It's the latest service pack released from Microsoft. Lots of spyware prevention stuff in it.

Yeah I have read the articles regarding it. Theres always going to be holes. I have been using this computer with XP on it for nearly two years and I have never had a problem with viruses and or spyware. I reboot maybe once every two weeks and I always have twenty-something windows open and I spent 8+ hours a day sitting here. This computer still runs as fast as the day I bought it. (knock on wood)
I think most of the problems with spyware and viruses are user error. People just need to pay attention to the programs and websites they are using. -Tony |
