Does anyone have free movie galleries that use embeded video in flash? Is it worth it? Any pit falls? Short 15 to 30 second clips.

Why not? If I can get the flash file small enough. Maybe as alternative to using other forms of media players that have to be started when you open the page or downoaded to view the movie.
I havent invested much into this, just wondering if anyone believes that its worth using or is it a waste of my time.

You need this gallery to be submitted into MGP sites ?
I doubt anyone would accept your gallery,
they have usually rules that they accept mpeg, wmv, ...
Lot of scripts are checking your gallery and looging for certain movie files, it would not detect your flash movies
