It's really nice to chill on the couch without looking at some small ass laptop.
Very nice, I've been thinking of doing something similar in the bedroom but wasn't sure if it would work. What type of output are you using out of your laptop? DVI, serial, S-video?
The pic isn't very good and there isn't really anything that I can see to compare it to, so I don't very well know that it's 61". It still looks prett sweet though.

Nice... I have the same exact Samsung DLP. By far the best set out..... by far.
Nice stuff
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
I do that sometimes with my projector (like having 120inch monitor lol) only thing is that doesnt change the pixel hieght and width, what is your tv at? i think my projector only does like 800x600 or something, who needs ICQ windows that are 2feet wide hehe

i gota say that is hot dude,
i can connect my laptop to my television..... or at least i used to be able until i lost the damn connections....
the television is 32 42 inch....
Yeah the flicker effect is because of the refresh rate that humans dont "see" with their eyes (but which cause the eyestrain). Most housecats dont see anything whatsoever on the tv screen when they have good eyesight.
So if your cat watches tv and sees things moving around on it, their eyes aren't too good.
Anywho, looks nice I've got a 42" plasma, but havent used it as a monitor yet.. Great for true widescreen movies though

If you use a plasma be carefull it can cause "burning" on your screen by having the same thing there too long (icons, start bar etc)

If you were to buy a 50 inch plasma, and had the ability to hook it up as a monitor, would you be allowed to declare it as a business expense on your taxes?
make sure to use the DVI slot that works the best and also get the HDTV update from the ATI website if that is the card you use. i often use my 50" DLP as a screen but only when i play games on it. for work it sucks the resolution is not high enough.
