A 32oz Coke Spilled Right Dead Center On My Laptop

So,

we are sitting around on Sunday letting the drugs from the previous night wear off...we decide to order some pizza and I run to the store to get some cocacola....i fix a nice huge cup of coke and place it on the coffee table....the pizza gets here and that goes on the coffee table as well....

i am sitting on the floor with the laptop in my lap, when my wife decides to open the pizza and grab some slices....when she opens the box she neglects to notice the HUGE cup of coke right next to the box and hits the cup with the top of the pizza box and it proceeds to fall over, and the coke rolled out of the cup and directly in the center of my laptop...

i flipped out, unplugged i and flung the battery out and it flew across the room...i opened it all the way up and put it upside down and started hitting the back while screaming to get my tools....i think i set a record for taking apart a laptop, it must have only took me about 3 minutes....

it works now, but every single key is sticky, and I have to remove them and clean each one out one by one....but the damn thing still works....

my hubby has spilled numerous beers and glasses of whiskey on my key board..and 7 years later that fucker still works...now my laptop i dont know about.. I would have been freaking out.. glad it still works

I did the same thing but with Icedtea. Same thing. My track pad and keyboard needed to be replaced.

just buy a new keyboard on ebay. people are always selling specific KBs for specific laptops/

hahaha, actually it was from the 2 previous nights before....woke up at 1am friday night and went til 6am monday morning....WHEW...i fucking love weekends

Fucked up my wireless keyboard a few weeks back when I spilt an entire porkchop dinner (complete with gravy and potatoes). Spent two hours cleaning the damned thing but it's still fucked...the keyboard doesn't relay signals properly anymore....
