I do not see the civil suit being that successful.

Kobe was offered a deal months ago to plea to a misdermeaner. Which would have been 9 months on probation. Kobe turned it down.

The DA should never have brought this case forward - it was a incredible waste of resources and time. I hope the voters in his county vote him out of office.

This is what happens when presecutors are politicians - they will do anything to gain public support.
