You can tell you young guys are spoiled with the huge (and possibly artificial) jumps in public offerings.

Back in the day when we had to walk 2 miles up hill in the snow to the stock exchange, we'd be thrilled if stock we bought at $85 went to $100 in a week.

Yeah for those that were able to get in early and participate in the whole dutch auction thing. which 99.99% of investors weren't. When it was finally open for trading to the public it was at $100
