Ordering a high-end desktop computer system- Recommendations?
Local stores around here suck, so I'm looking to buy a computer online -- 3.2 mhz cpu+, fast raided harddrives, etc... 2gb ram, for fast video editing good customer service, so on so forth.
I know of alienware, any others? |

call them up and make sure you gt a rep in the small business section, go for a discount...you might have to buy something they stress, like a warranty, but you should be able to get good deals on upgrades etc |

All our office machines at karups are Dell and they work great.
My Laptop is an alienware and I love it. It's tech dept is good but I do not feel it has lived up to the hipe though it is a good machine. |

I wish I could build pc's I used to during the 486 era; but now with the stuff I need raid 0/1 etc... more complicated.
It seems to me Alienware has become too big for its own good, I haven't heard good things about their customer service nowadays. I guess Dell would be the same. Local stores suck around here, all I got is data doctors or stores that close up in less than a year. Unless any of you living in Phoenix know of a good store, I'll head there today |
