Webmasters need to come up with better viral ideas now.I think the industry is getting to where people have to start using thier heads more.Its not as easy as before.

You mean sponsor programs, right? Obviously some US unsolicited spammers are making less. Most webmasters here have probably never done mail marketing, so it wouldn't impact them at all. I doubt your premise that it's had a big effect on the industry. Maybe you're right, but I haven't read of any big sales dropoffs, and haven't seen more program closures than usual. Many big programs avoided unsolicited spammers before the new rules anyway, and legit opt-in spammers are relatively unaffected. And based on my Inbox, unsolicited porn spam hasn't dropped off noticably anyway.
