Sony have good cams in that range ... 3.2 megapixel one is pretty good for travelling . And they don't break easily

Fuji Fine Pix 4 Mega Pixel Camera

This little camera may not seem like much, but it's been excellent for me... I shoot behind the scenes footage and just everyday stuff with it and it works out great.

The canon powershot S30 is one of the few digital cameras that's capable of nighttime / stellar photography... and it's all-around great.

I prefer 35mm for most things though.. unless you can afford to carry lots of rechargeable batteries and memory cards around with you, you're going to have problems taking all the pictures you want.

i c...I dont need to have the most expensive shit out on the market for all categorys..cars, houses etc. Im a simple person so something with less money will do.

range in price from 200-400 or so depending on model
